Accessibility Statement

This website is built to be usable by as many people as possible, including those using keyboards, screen readers, magnification or reduced-motion settings.

Commitment

The site is designed and tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 Level AA as a working target. No formal certification or third-party audit is claimed. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time check.

Keyboard and navigation

All interactive elements — navigation, links, the contact form, the credential viewer and the recommendations section — can be reached and operated with a keyboard. Focus is always visible, focus order follows the reading order, dialogs trap focus while open and return it when closed, and focus is never moved automatically by animation.

Structure and screen readers

Pages use semantic landmarks and a single logical heading order. Images carry descriptive alternative text or are marked decorative, form fields have persistent visible labels, and validation errors are announced and linked to the field they describe.

Contrast and text

Colour combinations are chosen to meet AA contrast for body and interface text. Text can be resized or zoomed to 200% without loss of content, and layouts reflow without horizontal scrolling from 320px upwards.

Motion

Motion is limited and purposeful. When your device or browser requests reduced motion, auto-advancing content stops and becomes a stable list, and analytical animations are replaced with a static state that carries the same information.

Known limitations: PDF documents

Certificate documents and the résumé are published as original PDFs issued by third parties. Their internal tagging, reading order and text layer are outside my control and may not be fully accessible. Each document can be opened or downloaded in a separate tab so your own reader, zoom or assistive tool can be used.

Getting assistance

If any part of this site or any document is difficult to access, email alakadmohammed86@gmail.com describing the page and the difficulty. I will respond and provide the information in an alternative format where possible.
